WORDS, ON THE OTHER HAND, ARE DIRECT AND LIMITED IN THEIR OWN INTERPRETATION. IMAGES HAVE MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES WHILE A WORD OFTEN HAS A CERTAIN MEANING. BUT WHAT ABOUT SIGN LANGUAGE? WHICH IS LITERALLY THE IMAGE OF WORDS IN THE MOVEMENT OF THE HUMAN BODY? HOW FREE IS THE INTERPRETATION OF THAT IMAGE? SINCE THERE IS A DIRECT MEANING TO THE IMAGE.
PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIGN LANGUAGE WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT IS MEANT BY THE GESTURES. HOWEVER, SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE SUCH KNOWLEDGE WILL UNDERSTAND IT MINIMALLY OR BE ABLE TO GIVE THEIR OWN MEANINGS TO THE GESTURES.
